An Exciting Opportunity for LOOTB

We are so excited to be able to share the most recent news about Life Out of the Box with you all. The last article we wrote, we were living and expanding the business in Marrakech, Morocco. Since then, as many of you know, we have developed beautiful new Moroccan leather bracelets that are now available to purchase on our website.

We also partnered with various orphanages throughout the city and distributed school supplies to hundreds of children. Since then, we’ve packed our bags and are now back in the United States working on really growing our business and sharing what we’ve created with as many people as possible.

We originally came back to our home state in California where we toured all around the west coast to middle schools, high schools and universities and gave presentations about our story of creating Life Out of the Box. Our goal was to get in front of as many students as possible and inspire them to get out and create something of their own that would make a difference around the world. We wanted to encourage them to follow their passions, chase their dreams, travel the world, create positive change and live their Life Out of the Box.

Then, BOOM. Life threw us another crazy curveball and we swung. We were offered the chance to take our business and grow it in a startup incubator while learning how to develop Life Out of the Box at Oklahoma State University. It was an opportunity to have our very first office space, hire passionate student interns and utilize all of the wonderful resources that the university would provide for us to be able to take what we started to the next level.

Life Out of the Box Update

We have been spending the last two years working as hard as we can can in various countries, creating opportunities for us and others. After getting amazing feedback and a solid following of people who support what we’ve started, we were ready to continue to grind even harder. The opportunity to grow our business with mentors and resources we had never had before was something we knew we couldn’t pass up.

So we packed our bags ONCE AGAIN, stuffed our little green car (aka the “Gecko”) and drove over 24 hours from California to Oklahoma.

We now live in a tiny studio apartment in a small town called Stillwater where we work every single day to make our dream become a reality. Things are picking up at a very rapid pace and we’ll be updating you on everything as it happens.

We also have several trips planned overseas to new countries where we’ll be doing more school supply drops as well as working with artisans to expand our product line. We’re excited about this new phase of our journey and that you’ll all be right there along with us as we continue to grow. This is not the end of our travels. This is the beginning of truly making a serious impact on the world. An impact that we never imagined was truly possible when we first started Life Out of the Box.

I tell your story many times each month. You guys are an inspiration to me and I’m looking forward to watching your grow. All I can say is keep doing what you are doing. The World is a much better place because of the lives you touch and the light, love and passion that you share. Stay in touch. I have a new start up and I’m going to have to lean on you a bit to help me make it as sustainable as possible. Yes. You have inspired me to make a difference. Thank you. Capt. Paul

Agreed, keep it going! It’s very inspiring to me as well. I just stopped by to see what LOOTB was up to because I’m thinking of them as a write my plan to create an art site to raise money for children’s art charities. Thank you.
